Moniker cancelled my transfers! one name is is already transferred to Moniker, but no whois is shown. One name is in pending transfer status, one name is in escrow via Sedo, and confirmed by the Seller!

The only reason is their transfer price was increase yesterday, but, these 3 transferred was submitted 2 to 4 days ago!

Crazy???

How can they cancel a transfer which name is already transferred? How can they increase the past price??

Same thing happened to me. Haven't contacted support yet, but seems unusual to me.

Moniker support are usually helpful. Drop them an e-mail at [email protected].

It sounds like many people may be affected, so they are probably inundated with e-mails :)

the best thing to do is call them or email your personal rep directly.

same thing happened with me for some domains that were still (mistakenly) locked at their current registrar

normally, they don't cancel them so quickly .... but these were cancelled within hours, so i didn't get a chance to unlock the domains (as i have in the past with domains that were still locked while attempting transfer)

I am sure this has happened to a lot of people. Fortunately, mine were not cancelled. Still shows pending.

It's probably related to the upcoming change to registration fees. Just a hunch.

Moniker replied (they are still thinking they are right?)

I hope this e-mail finds you well.

To clarify, any domain transfer that was cancelled, was actually cancelled due to the fact that the transfer was not processing.

The upcoming price increase for domain names is a secondary issue.

So you are aware, all funds for any cancelled transfer has since been placed back into your Moniker Account.

Therefore, if you still wish to transfer your domain name(s) to your Moniker Account, all you would need to do is start the transfer process again, from the beginning.

Sincerely,

Moniker.com Support Center

That's bull. They should still honor the discounted price for you unless it was a transfer you did not authorize by clicking the link in the email they sent you. If not, then it technically was not an authorized transfer. It was just a request to transfer without the authorization approval you have to give by clicking on their link in the email they send to the admin email address listed in the whois.

If all else fails email your account rep or Monte for clarification. With this many people with cancellations there must be a reason.

It is funny and silly to say: "To clarify, any domain transfer that was cancelled, was actually cancelled due to the fact that the transfer was not processing."

One domain name has already been transferred to Moniker from Enom, how do they explain this?

Very annoying. I am buying a domain from someone overseas and they hadn't forwarded me the Moniker email yet from my transfer request- and all of a sudden the transfer is canceled and I have to pay 59cents more (7.44 versus 6.85) and re-initiate it. Poor service. Usually I'm high on Moniker but not this time.

Guess what...they screwed up my transfers too! And I started them a week ago. After emailing support several times and getting no response, I gave up and transferred the domains to Fab instead.

I have transfered 2 a week ago, one is successfully transfered, other is also transfered out from old registrar, whois reflects Moniker as current registrar but my account at moniker shows the transfer as pending!

I think something is wrong which needs their attn.

They don't want to pay for the increase out of their own pocket, IMO.
