moniker Moniker down - URL forwarding not working - I'm ticked!

So I spent hundreds of dollars today with ad campaigns hitting utilizing URL forwarding. Wasted money! Moniker is down & URL forwarding is down. I am pissed off to say it mildly. I suggest Moniker call me because I'm about to go ballistic with all of my money you are wasting!

During this latest outage tonight - I had someone I paid to tweet a message out to their 594,000 followers which isn't cheap! I can't stop/pause the advertising campaigns. I've lost many hundreds of dollars today because of Moniker & I am absolutely outraged...

I certainly feel your pain. My entire livelihood is offline right now. Not a single domain is resolving and my email is down. To add insult to injury their phone support is closed for the day. I could have sworn they had 24/7 phone support.

Due to an unexpected network problem, our DNS experienced intermittent downtime between approximately 9:00pm EST-11:30pm EST. The issue was fixed as quickly as possible and we are continuing to monitor our systems. Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Due to an unexpected network problem, our DNS experienced intermittent downtime between approximately 9:00pm EST-11:30pm EST. The issue was fixed as quickly as possible and we are continuing to monitor our systems. Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Ummm.... spending many hundreds of dollars on an ad campaign & not having your URL forwarding work from your registrar is not an inconvenience.... it's a damn disaster! Moniker was down during the day as well.

Oh well now we understand, you crashed the forwarding servers as they could not handle the load

Seriously, if you depend heavily on URL forwarding you should look at paid DNS service with redundancy, DDOS protection and the works.
Add some monitoring tools perhaps.
