heir name servers are also down all my domains are down. I hate moniker.

They raised their Domain prices without information and now the whole thing is down I have no idea what will happen to my domains. I have no way to change the dns of the domains.

I am waiting for it to come online so I can transfer domains to enom

Yes it is up but how can this be accepted that their name servers go down?

They raised their Domain prices without information

FYI:

1. They lowered their prices originally from $19/year to $9+ for the average
end-user.

2. Their site stated at one point they were going to raise prices, and did so.

3. I still have their Sep. 12 email stating the eventual price increase.

Why you didn't get their email about it is anyone's guess.

Nobody wants downtime, and downtime's a reality. But like some, if not even
most service providers, it's minimally in their best interests to ensure their site
is up ASAP when things like this occur.

Their site's up for me as of this post.

"A couple Months" They just might be there now! Flopping auctions (no bids currently with 3K domains at the silent auction) Poor sales via PubCon Live auction. Maybe because the auction list came out 1 day before the auction? Don't forget the Geo auction was pretty "Sad" on the sales end as well.

Customer Service HAS to be the worst in the industry, no question!

The one good thing they had going was a good functioning site.....

I said in a couple of months because that is when I will have left moniker.
Now I am plain angry!

Their functioning site is failing all over the place.
Domains fail to renew, domains get unlocked, domains are losing their nameservers!!!
Funding the account fails and I can't use these credit card funds .
I can't move domains between categories, etc...

Absolutely nothing works, but according to moniker all is ok.

Folks,

There was a power outage at one of our Data Center's that created the outage of the site. Although we have redundant servers at another location, the load from servers that were out created a slow down at the second back up location - this never happened before so we did not know that there would be a slow down. This is now addressed and load balancing has been adjusted in case of a second incident.

Regarding price increases, the entire industry faced a price increase which everyone has known about for 6 months. We also sent out notices and placed notices on our site indicating that prices would increase along with the industry...not sure how this was missed by anyone.

dvdrip - your issues are not issues experienced by any other customer. your transfer issue involved the .info registry and your credit card issue involved a non matching billing address and a security issue. Both have been addressed so your continued public bashing of an issue that is only occurring with your account is not fair...although I am personally trying to make sure it does not happen again.

Regarding auctions - Pubcon was a success not a flop - first time event with non investors generated more money in domain sales and more domains sold than the first 2 TRAFFIC auctions. These are niche markets that will continue to grow and they are new frontiers, new markets, with a different audience that we are educating as we conduct auctions and speak at these conferences.

We are implementing a new online customer support ticket system and continuing to expand services. We are growing and will continue to improve. in the mean time, If you are having an issue that is not getting resolved in a timely manner, copy me in your email to [email protected] and I will look after the issue personally.

Monte, you or Moniker have done absolutely nothing to resolve any of my issues.
You don't even know what my problem was. A transfer problem was the only possible problem that I didn't have!
Tell me what you have actually done!!! I checked all my domains 1 by ****ing 1 to see which ones are unlocked and locked them. Control panel was presenting them as locked. I myself found all the domains that had lost their nameservers and fixed that. Control panel was again irrelevant. I still don't know which domains were not renewed. Why? Because you have done nothing to help!
Noone told me anything about a non matching billing and a security issue. Someone mentioned a verisign problem. My billing address matches my credit card for the past 4 years and still is. How this become an issue for 2 specific days is beyond me. Also my funds are still tied by your credit card company. Why? Because you have done absolutely nothing to release them!!! I am talking about $6000 tied for more than 2 weeks now.
Stop the excuses and act.
