easy 10K site

find a source to produce some stuff for you and you have a great web business

however, it's a product site where you have to DELIVER

so be set to spend all your time packing boxes and stuff

.net's with downloads (software, ebooks, movies, etc) are the way to go on the net

People love to buy and download

Oh they like controversial content too

CONTENT

DOWNLOADABLE

Love those two words

But if you want an old fashioned biz using the net that domain is great

excellent .net (market it to the end buyers) keep us posted on your progress. GoodLuck

undeveloped/empty vessel $1500

Developed w/traffic $3K +

There are TWO end buyers
a) resellers/domain traders
and
b) actual end users

so, this is why you'll see various opinions of worth.

it's a great .net

I think the above valuations for monogrammed.net are far too high. This name is not even registered in .info .biz .org or .us. An OK name as you stated though. Good luck with it.

go to your local shop that does t-shirts and monogrammed stuff

say I have a domain name for you MONOGRAMMED .net

guys that do tons of monograms for stuff like hats and jackets have 10K easy to buy it

why?

I used to order that crap years ago for some of my companies

you're talking orders in the many thousands of dollars for big orders

10K is what it's worth all day long to anyone who does 250K a year in the monogram biz

the potential commercial use determines the value 99.9% of the time

the potential commercial use of that name is HUGE

personally it should be developed

you find a source to out put the hats and jackets

you take orders

you make money with it

you've got a business over night

yawn

if you want to work buy it

I CREATE and make money via downloads

If you could download a monogram product I'd buy it

I've got almost 30 years background in software

I've created several software companies

I run very successful ePublishing companies

I have no interest whatsoever in doing anything with any type of physical products

all though my recent moves have made me have to buy a warehouse and hire people to jam eBook CD's, eMovie CD's and DVD's into boxes to ship

I don't have any interests really in anything but eMedia today

I can burn a thousand DVD's for 2K

They sell for 30 bucks each

over 90% profit margin

Now why would I ever invest in something where I get 40 bucks and have to pay maybe 30 to get it made?

If I can't make 100% profit on a download or over 90% on a CD/DVD/VHS tape I don't want to know anything about it

But the domain is still worth what I said

Past tense verbs are tough sales, especially in .net.

$100 - $200.

I would totally agree with Bob's valuation. It seems that the people posting above Bob are confusing monogrammed items with embroidered and silk-screened items which is what you get when you order T-Shirts, Polo Shirts, Hats etc. A monogram is normally thought of as a person's initials stitched on a hankerchief, shirt cuff, wallet etc. It is a much smaller market than silk-screened and embroidered specialty items, which is why you will find over one million searches in Google for emroidered and only 60,000 for monogrammed. OT numbers are also low for monogrammed. If the word was valued in the thousands in .net there is absolutely no way it would still be sitting there unregistered in four other extensions - not even worth $7 to someone.
