I had not bothered to check my domains registered with 1&1 for some time (big mistake) and just saw that all my domain packages are locked.
When I raised a support ticket, I was told that Billing had locked me out and Billing claimed that my account was in collections and I would have to call the external collections agency to get a release code from them. However, 1&1 had my valid CC on file and there was neither any problem with the CC nor did 1&1 ever send me any e-mail to indicate there was a problem.
So why did they refer my account to a collections agency? of course now they don't answer that question or respond to other support tickets.
Does anybody have a clue as to what may have happened and how I can resolve the problem? More important, how can I get the Auth Codes to transfer my domains away from this horrible company?
