I thought I'd bring up a little question thats been on mind for a while. You think the WIPO police :-D would come knocking on my door for owning a movienamemovie.com domain?

As an example, MatrixMovie.com

I actually think you'd be safer with matrix.com, than with matrixmovie.com. Matrix is generic, but with matrixmovie, your talking about the movie.

agreed. it is extremely common for the movie companies to use that formula since the actual name of their movies are frequently unavailable. with that precedent, it could be argued that they have a property worth protecting and anyone else's use of the formula could be vulnerable to attack.

If the trademark on the movie was issued before the domain was registered then they will go after you, otherwise they have no case (most of the time), so they’ll leave you alone. Speaking from personal experience (MatrixRevolutions.com, MatrixReloaded.com). Both were sold a while back but never got
any letters from WB lawyers when I owned them and built a monster forum.
