Just aquired this one on a trade-- MrWise.com

Could be an "AskJeeves" type of information site, or advice site.

Got a question or need advice? Just ask MrWise and he will help.

The logo would have an Owl --or maybe a-- Professor.

I'm not looking for dollar amounts just feedback. Opinions?

In 1997 I almost picked up "MrCreativity.com", but I passed. Someone finally picked it up this year in March and its still "Coming Soon."

Personally I think its very non-Unisex and I can't wrap my head around the popular appeal. If you're really digging it, and can think of a good *realistic* development and business strategy, I would go ahead and research MisterWise.com and MrWize.com as well.

I think "MrWise" is snappier and thus better than "MrCreativity".
Although it could be sexist to have a "Mr" anything, there is a "MrFixit" column in the newspaper... If one were really concerned, one could also register "MsWise" and have potentially different views offered? Advice column/site?

Its definitely shorter, but we'll disagree. From my point of view, I've actually heard people say "Yeah, he's Mister Creativity." or even "She's our little Miss Creativity." I don't remember anyone ever using "Mr. Wise" in a conversation (unless there really WAS a Mr.Wise). Usually they might use the phrase "Smart Guy" instead.

I think Mr.Fixit is on a completely different level in the English lexicon. It is synonymous with "Handyman", and is a very powerful branding name. It may just be me, but Mr. Wise is interesting, but I'm not sure what kind of chord it strikes, and how deeply.

Other "deep strikers" I feel are: Mr.Wonderful and of course Mr.Right/Wrong.

But, regardless, I think it has potential, but reserve those alternates! There are companies with that name, you'll want to plug the "holes" in the online brand.

I'm curious, why are you selling it now, after you just acquired it? I was under the impression you were going to develop it, and did posters' comments affect your decision?

Hi lol--yes I was thinking about it--but then reality slapped me in the face--and I realized I have 100 other names that are also catchy and could also be developed--but I don't have the time to do them either--so this would just get thrown in with all the others.

I own too many names already but this one caught my eye. I feel it has real potential--if for nothing else but a vanity site.

Maybe somebody else can do something with it much sooner than I would be able to. $25 is still profit for me.

Well, best of luck, truly. Just keep it on the block and see if anyone would like it. :)
