Posted on DrudgeReport.com --> MICROSOFT PLANS TO SELL SEARCH ADS OF ITS OWN; TAKE ON YAHOO, GOOGLE... DEVELOPING...

It makes sense because the other 2 big search engines are doing it ... why not follow in their footsteps? ;)

Sounds good, for the consumer the more big sites that have their own advertising programs the more exposure and profits.

more revenue = happy publisher

With the launch of Yahoo BETA I'm seing about an average of 9X revenue of Google. If MSN can give me 9X Yahoo's revenue, I'll be one happy publisher ;)

This is definitely good for publishers.

Looking forward to see them in action.

In Microsofts head:

No sites containing linux distros
Ads will only show in Internet Explorer
All coding is buggy so visitors may complain.
Visitors must agree to an 18 page TOS before seeing the adverts
No sites containing Google adsense, We hate em' (google)

hehe, Or maybe not, Im hoping they will release the better in UK first hehe
