Do they have '1 click' pages available?
Hi everyone,
I'll do my best to shed some light on how our '1-click' pages work.
The term we use is "Direct-To-Results" or D2R. The D2R qualification process for all domains is determined by our primary search partner, Overture/ Yahoo, using their own proprietary technology. TrafficZ does not decide which domains qualify for D2R.
The obvious advantage is that visitors only have to click once for the domain owner to get paid. Quality is rewarded in this feature and only certain domains qualify for obvious reasons. The domain name itself must clearly indicate the appropriate content to be displayed. Also, the word or words in the domain name must be "bidded" keyterms, meaning that an advertiser has requested and bid on the exact term. Mis-spellings can also qualify for D2R if they are one letter off from the original word. Interestingly enough, TLD's do not seem to impact the qualification process. (ie: a dot com is treated the same as it's dot info cousin.) Basically, the more generic the domain name, the better chance it has of going directly to search results.
Of course, the criteria for any feature of a domain parking service always boils down to what best serves the advertiser. Overture is a company that prides themselves on integrity and their ability to insure quality traffic to their advertising customers. Therefore, their guidelines for all partners (including us) are fairly stringent and any parameters our system has are based on those guidelines as set forth in our partnership agreements.
I hope this explanation helps. If anyone wants more detail, please feel free to contact me directly via PM or at
