I would guess that there's a higher chance of recrimination in connection with Mugshots.com than with most websites. After all, people with criminal records are more likely to lash out than people without criminal records. And their mugshots are being posted online, which typically isn't cause for celebration. So perhaps Sahar Sarid elected to have his name disconnected from a website that might anger a lot of people with short fuses and (potentially) a vindictive streak.
