So,..I have a multi answer question concerning multi-extension domains,..for anyone with some insight, please.
Lets say I on a same name dot com and net. Aside from just owning all the dot org, us, info, etc with the same name, what are the benefits of, problems with, having all these extensions with the same name.
If my site is found with the dot com, then having the others obviously prevents anyone elso from infringing on my traffic, and possible tm's.
But if I had them all, and lets say had a single page for each with a text description, and a link to the dot com, is that considered search engine spamming?
Can the same be said if the names were slightly different.
IE (example only)
carparts.com
car-parts.com
foreigncarparts.net
carengineparts.org
This may be a basic question for someone but I am not so informed.
I think to myself, if I could get all the keyword related domains I own to eventually lead to one site, that would be good for search traffic?
Or will that make me prone to search engine penelty?
Thanks for all who reply.
