I am looking to develop a bunch of my domain names.

I figured it was worth finding out... Are there any hosting plans that allow you to host multiple websites within one plan?

Not just add-on domains... But hosting plans that actually allow you to host multiple seperate websites.

Thanks in advance.

HostGator reseller plan for $25 a month. You get cpanel for each domain.

You have to get a reseller plan with WHM (web host manager) feature . This give you access to create individual cpanel account for your domains.

what is your budget and spec?

Addon domains are separate domains/websites, unless you want to resell the hosting. The difference is that with a reseller account you can give each domain it's own individual control panel. Is this what you want?

It might also depend if you want to use Linux or Windows Hosting.

hostgator.com is one that people have mentioned above..vistapages.com..webhosting.net or maybe ipower.com (I think they have reseller too, but they have their own in-house control panel)

I would set up private name servers (thru your domain register).
If you are going to have several websites and if you ever need to move to another host/server then all you have to change on the DNS end is your Ips for the main name servers, otherwise if you use the host provided ones you will be making changes to each domain name to repoint it at the new host.(alot of extra time and work)

I have used hostmonster and hosted more than 20 websites. They are good.

How much do they charge james?
Check out HostGator.com. I am currently on their BabyCroc plan. $7.96 per month.

I have over 20 sites so far and not near the limit of bandwidth and usage.

Unlimited domains. Great flexibility. Cpanel plus Fantastico loaded, meaning Joomla, Wordpress and tons of other stuff pre-loaded and ready to go.

If I overtask my usage, it would be nothing to go up a plan or simply sign up for an additional account.
