want to take all my domains out of parking and get 1 hosting plan where i can have unlimited domains.

anyone know of a company who offers that?

am I allowed to do this with new domains, or does it matter cause all i would be doing is changing the nameservers right?

Check the reseller plans offered by most webhosts. They provide what you need -- hosting unlimited domains within the limits of the bandwidth transfer and diskspace package you buy.

Right.

1&1 allows unlimited domains pointing to folders in one account. They were originally based in Europe and moved into the U.S. market with a deal for 3 years of free hosting. I took them up on it. They own part of Sedo (or vice versa) and together they seem to be trying to conquor the world.

I do not recommend them as a registrar, but their hosting is great!

Completly unbiased view - but I heared really bad reports from 1and1 - some from customers coming to me, other ones have come from people I just speak to here and there, I'd avoid them - going on the reports, - however its ur call

weird thing is i have 1 on 1 as my register on 5 domains and having a big thing with them now. been 48 hours since i got a domain and nothing up. and i emailed them 3 or 4 times and didnt even email me back.

my plan is to dump these names i have with them dirt cheap just to get away from them.

to each is own

btw i registered 6 domains somewhere else last night and im live so who knows.

but your right their hosting prices are sweet but one thing i need is reliability and atleast a company that read their email, maybe they went back to uk for a vacation

You might also just use free domain forwarding from your current registrar (most of them offer that service free with registration) and forward the domains to a single hosting account.

Methods ... I am very curious of your findings as far as quality & price? I too have several domains I would like to get developed with one hosting account if i could. Your research information would greatly be appreciated!

Thank you

What I find however is that if you want to send an email from that domain, dont want to have a "frame" on the "forwarded" domains, then its best to host with a company that will allow multiple domains, [mod]AGAIN, advertising of own services is NOT allowed. I thought you had seen the editing by another mod in post#3 of this thread.[/mod]

What you need is a "reseller plan" that allows you to create unlimited accounts for one fixed price. The limitation being bandwith and diskspace. I have used Voxtreme since the end of 2002 to host over 250 domains and sites and I am very pleased with them. Found them here on DNForum.

As a note my relationship to Voxtreme is that of a satisfied customer no more

How many are you looking to host and are they going to point to one page or have a site on each one? What are you looking for in terms of bandwidth and hd space?

I use a reseller plan from Z3.com for most of my names. Top notch! Been with them for over a year and it's been excellent all the way! (Knock on wood!) Don't judge them by their site desing, though... :)

Best,
Rob
