Hello there folks. I am Sohrab Khan. I am normally known for my local social activities but let's be honest, having a wife and 2 kids mean the money i make just wont cut the mustard. So I looked around and found blogging and domain buying/selling to my taste. I bought two domains. One I use for my blogs and the other to get a taste of what I can get.

I know some basics from my research. It's ideal to get a domain which is:
- easy to remember
- short
-contains keywords which are highly searched/used

I did just that. I got my hands on two of them:

sohrabkhanlive.com (this, I use for my blogs)
moneyroach.com (this is probably my starting point in this field).

It is up for grabs at GoDaddy auctions. But my purpose of the post is not to attract buyers. I wish to get some genuine and constructive feedback on how to ensure a good deal. What to look for and what to avoid, that sort of things.

Thank you for your input. Hoping to read tons of material on this here!

Hi

just putting keywords together that don't compliment each other, adds no inherent value

and from my perspective, neither of those have any value.

imo...

Oki, First of all. This year I have lost a domain cwr.com which I have bought as long year customer on Sedo platform with networksolution.com as registrar. NEVER BUY A DOMAIN FROM NETWORK SOLUTION.COM and nobody has pay one cent back. The seller can reclaim back the sold domain month later and can say the domain was stolen.
- My tip is check well the whois history and contact first the owner directly first. Domains that changes a lot there whois are dangerous.
- Network Solutions is for me a no go for the future. Netsol is too unsecure, expensive.
- Registrar Selling Platforms are more save than Sedo.
- For your security don't buy a domain from oversea countries like Mexico and so on.
- Ask first somebody in the forum here.
Good luck
