legal my hotmail account has been hacked.

my hotmail account has been hacked and my account is now blocked, someone hacked into my account and mass emailed a list of companies, I noticed suddenly I have 20+ bounced returned emails on my blackberry, at first I was confused and then with in seconds hotmail blocked my account and notified me that my account has been possibly hacked.

This is strange, anyone else experiencing this or am I being targeted?

If they are emailing spam, they are probably NOT targeting you INDIVIDUALLY, but targeting thousands of people whose email they hack.

If you had a simple password, they might have guessed your password OR they might have hacked your computer through malware and got your password that way.

Check you computer for keyloggers. Malwarebytes is a good start. Also run a copy of tdsskiller to check for rootkits. If neither of those does the trick, try combofix. I had a customer last week that had their router's dns pointing them to phishing sites, so you also may consider resetting yoru router to defaults, and re-configuring it with a new password.
