i would think more in the area of $500 to $1000. Its a decent one-word domain, but its a .net and it ends in -ing.

If .net ever takes a good share of the market you have a great name. Unfortuneately its going the other way.

Not every name can associate very well with .Net.
But for the developing.net case, .Net is quite a nice compliment to this word.

I am a developer so I see the value from my point of view.

.net suits here well since you are focusing on some group of people. However, I would prefer developer.net or developers.net instead of ing. I would say developing.net is worth around $500.

Safe by the way how many domains you have, I mean you always have a domain to reply someone like avantis.com or developing.com :confused:
