They would be nuts to change the name. I seen this name blaster over commercials from HP to Dateline. It's a household name, it won't change. If it does, one of us should take the CEO's job.

all thats saying, is that the search function in myspace is gonna be auctioned to google or microsoft. Doesn't mean myspace itself is being auctioned. All this would do is make the search function an optional google search or msn search instead of a profile search or site search.
