i hate names123.com
i stupidly registered a few domains at names123.com a few years ago
i am in the process of transfering the last of these names to my enom account
After i faxed an authorisation request i got this email

i immediately phoned up and complained and got the most unhelpful lady on this planet. I said i wasnt going to pay it and asked to speak to her manager. She eventually came back and said theyd waive the fee because i had spent a lot of money with them.
Last summer the site im transferring was hosted with them. Their hosting terms and conditions claimed to have 24 hour monitoring. But still they booted my site without telling me. After speaking with the manager and stating that 24 hours monitoring should flag a bandwidth issue up i got a refund. This was after 6 days of phonecalls though.
Bottom line - stay clear!!!
