it is best to do a drop catch using a backorder product from the registrar the domain is currently under, otherwise, they are all hit and miss, if the domain is with gd and you do a back order or bid in tdnam, if the original registrant lets the domain expire past day 42, you get it depending on whether your backorder or bid was the highest price in the auction
That's not true, because I did have the backorder through Godaddy, where it was registered. Once a name drops, it's available for anyone to register, regardless of the registrar they use...
