You should have received an email from GoDaddy, that will give you the transfer code.

Hope this helps

When they sent you the authorization code, they expect you to start the transfer, not the push.

The push would come with come with the transaction ID and security code.

What company do you keep most of your domains at?
Go there and log in, then initiate the transfer to them, they will ask you for the code you have.

Perhaps you were looking at accept an account change, "Pending Account Changes - > Accept Domains", which is different.

This is what I tried to explain. If he only received the authorization code then he needs to start the transfer process (to any registrar - does not have to be godaddy and check to make sure that 'who is' shows the name is unlocked before wasting the time to start the transfer and found out days later the name is locked).
