Hi well my question is for those :greenembarrassed: whose native language is English:wubpink: .
As we all know J, K, U, V, W are letters considered of less high quality (better than x y z q though). But can you give me an idea which one among the five is the worst and the best?
For me the order might be K>W>J>U>V, but since I am not a native speaker so would you mind give me your insights on this?
Thank you very much! :)

U, K, W, J, V

They are all pretty close, so hard to rate. Personal preference here. The V in the first position of the domain takes it near the top of the list though.

I find it odd that a non-english speaker is asking which letters english speakers don't like. For those letters often are more used in other languages. W's and X's don't go over well in English in the domain world but may and sometimes do translate very well into other languages/uses.

Try searching your LLL and LLLL's as acronyms in other languages - you may be surprised at what you find - not everybody speaks english or at least not as their one and only language. J, K, and W may do better in German than in the English language for example.

Just some thoughts!

I fully understand your point.
But for me the reason is simple. I can only speak English and Mandarin, maybe a little bit of Japanese and German but English is universal nonetheless.
Any other thoughts??

but that order can change depending on the word.

as stated by "stevo", the letter "v" has branding potential for certain words.

the letter "u" also has similiar potential.

x also has many branding possibilities as a single letter prefix.

My method - take a dictionary, how many pages of dictionary has words starting with that letter. Because more words exists starting from that letter, more acronyms you can create.
For example I have "American heritage" on hand, so:
1.
W 28 pages
2~3.
U and V 17 pages each
4.~5.
J and K 10 pages each
