well, your post certainly doesnt have enough useful info for us to answer your question. did your shagorgag domain get stolen, or did you let it expire? if you let it expire, then you aint neva gettin it back.

you wouldnt win a UDRP case, it would be a waste of $2000 (or whatever it costs to file one)

$1500 + attorney fees, etc ... so yeah, about $2K min ... more like $5K really.

Considering his site has been active for a long time, whereas the other domain has had basically nothing, and the name is somewhat unique, he might actually have a shot ...

The easiest option for him would be to negotiate (or have some do so on his behalf) purchase of the .com version ... even if it costs him several thousand, it's a worthwhile purchase in my view based on the traffic numbers he PMd me.

hoiw would i fielk the udpr? how about a trademark?

Depending on how long you have been operating under that name, you may rely on common law trademark rights in a UDRP.
