Need some advice on hosting a Video site, traffic is hitting 20,000+ and growing

I have some simple video sites that host short clips that are about 7-15mb in size. Traffic has been growing and my shared hosting plan can no longer support the traffic.

I need to find a host that can handle 100k+ unique visitors a day.

Can anyone recommend some hosting options?

You need a dedicated server, I don't think that even a VPS would manage this much traffic.

That's what I was worried about, I am hoping to stay in a shared option for a little while longer until I can put some more money into hosting.

What about a Virtual Private Server?

Can you recommend anyone for dedicated hosting?

I'm using Softlayer.com - they are not cheap but very reliable.

Back when Golom.com was up and booming It was hosted at techiemedia. They were great a few years ago, no idea how they are now since i've been off the grid.
