Hello all!
Just bought a site written in PHP, and i will like to customize but when i try to edit it in frontpage it look real weird and nothing like it when its online. Is there any editor which get the hole php site like the one online.. Hard to explain but it looks real strange when the scripts try to find its path.

So my questions is if there is any editor good to make changes in Php sites :cheeky:
Thanks,
Dimva

It's not that easy.
PHP pages cannot be easily modified using tools like FrontPage or Dreamweaver, unless you are a programmer.
You will be able to edit the site templates, if the original programmer was smart enough, but otherwise you will need professional help.

Well the text will be found in one of the files; just gotta find it heh.. :cheeky:

But yeah. I wouldn't suggest opening it in FP; use notepad or another text editor program. :)

Yeah, if you want to be certain you're wysiwyg prog doesn't mess up the PHP then use a texteditor notepad (www.textpad.com is my fav). If it's simple little changes then you shouldn't have much trouble - just don't touch the stuff between <? and ?>

Try Dev-PHP (open source) available at sourceforge.
