I currently run a successful, mid-$xxx,xxx business. Things are going well, and I have been developing a new business which is almost ready to launch.

Suddenly, I have come to terms with the owner of the category killer domain, if not for the entire niche, then for the exact subniche I am targeting.

I need to come up with low $xx,xxx quickly to buy this. Normally, I would be able to put it together on my own, but I just spent most of my reserves on 2013 business expenses to drive down 2012's taxable income.

My business is profitable and debt-free, so I have never needed to set up a credit line with my bank. Now, I am afraid it will take too long. I believe this opportunity can slip away if I wait a week.

This is my dilemma. I need to find an investor, and quick. Or at least a lender who is nimble enough to make it happen quickly. My credit is very good. I am not interested in finding a business partner, but I am willing to pay a fair interest rate.

Anybody have any suggestions on investors or companies who understand the situation I am in and are able to help?

I was looking at them, but haven't seen a lot written about them in the last few years. Are they still reputable?

to me, it reads like you're frantic and your palms are sweaty

you want this name and you're itching and scratching :)

i say, step back and think of how you could still do what you want, without buying this name

cuz it sounds like you've been hooked and being hooked is not right frame of mind to be in, when sourcing dough-ski

but if you stil gotta have it, then maybe get a capital one card or something.

credit is a good thing, because you get to use somebody else's money to make profits

Biggie,

Yeah, I can see that now in the reread.

I've got a perfectly suitable backup name, the one I was planning to use before. But, the credibility of having the perfect name is worth the money. And the amount I need is ridiculously achievable, the timing just sucked.

I have the credit card equity to do this deal, but the deal is going through Escrow and they don't take credit cards past $5k

Having said all of that, I think I have found my source. Had a nice chat with Gregg at Domain Investors this morning, and it sounds like they'll be able to help.
