Hi,

I have 2 product domains with 50.000 exact match keywords and must chose which one I will develop.

Domain 1: www.keyword1-keyword2.com With hyphen
Domain 2: www.keyword1keyword2.org Without hyphen

Both domains contain the same keywords in same order and would like to develop an ecommerce website.

Following you, which of this 2 domains will be well ranked on Google and why?

Thanks in advance :)

Both can rank well in Google. However, I would look more at who is using the keyword1keyword2.com and weigh that against both domains. If there is no one on the .com or if they have implemented poor SEO or if you know you can compete better than really either keyword set will do.

If it were up to me, I would have more faith in users remembering the extension than remembering to include the dash and in that case you could emphasize the extension by including it as part of the branding.

Try to contact the owner of keyword1keyword2.com whether you can buy it cheaply. Don't mention about your plans of dev.

Yes, you are both right. Just forgot to tell you that the keyword1keyword2.com is used as a type-in traffic domain for another domain and that the keyword1keyword2.net is parked with private registration.

The mean goal (as it is for an ecommerce) is to be well ranked on search engines to drive targeted traffic. If you are looking to buy an led tv, you will probably type www.ledtvdotcom but certainly type the keyword "led tv" on search engines. And when you've got your desired tv, I don't think you will get back to the website where you bought that led tv.

So developping a remindable domain name is not the main goal.
Any way, the hyphenated dot com domain would be prety for that if it's keywords are highly used when seeking that kind of goods. And it is the case for that www.keyword1-keyword2*com

Any other advices?

You have your own ideas and perception around this. Why need other people's opinions? You are wasting other people's time.

I have my own opinion but some advices are welcomed as it is the first case like this I experience.
There is any time waster, we are discussing and exchanging opinions. Forums have been created for that, isn't it?
Just want to be sure to make the right decision and other opinions are welcomed.

So sorry for my comment, please feel free to advice following your own experience.
