I bought this a few days ago on a whim and realize now that it doesn't fit as well into my market as I would like. It's a great site with very dedicated users.

I am looking to get low $XXXX for the site.
Currently the site has been live only since April 2004 and it has over 1100 members and about 25,000 posts.
It runs an excellently moded IPB 1.3 with Arcade, Pet, Army, Shoutbox, Affiliates, and Store mods. It also has a seperate but integrated Oekaki part where users create their own animations/drawing with a javascript program at the site. It's all rather cool actually and a great setup. It also has 5 skins. I will say that some of the custom graphics may have to be removed since the former owner didnt have copyright transfer but it's only some icons basically...like the owl in the header. I can give the buyer the artists info for possible deal in case you would like to keep the graphics. He was willing to let me keep them for free but I don't have the right to transfer that to the buyer. There is also a warning system for the mods to use to keep the users in line.
I only got the site up 2 days ago and I sure that some servers still needed to propogate DNS. The stats for yesterday were good at about 600 visits and 12,000 page views. I am sure once DNS and ownership stabilize that you can do a lot with it.
The site theme revolves around the NeoPet craze which is very popular around teenagers. I thought it would mix well with my video game sites but I realize I was wrong. The users there sent me lots of messages and wanted to chat all the time with me and I just don't have the time for it. I don't want to appear unfriendly to them so I would rather just sell the site and not have to deal with it anymore.
There are a lot of mods at the site and there is a transitional set of mods who wish to participate. I had about 10 requests from users to be mods and all the current mods still wish to be mods.
Please PM me offers. I would like to make a fast sale and get back to what I know best....video game sites.
Oops I forgot to add that the DB is about 60 megs. 50 for the IPB and 10 for the oekaki site. And the site files are also another 100 MB. So a total of about 150-200 MB.
