You shouldn't be throwing tld's or the word "dot" into the actual name as it may confuse slow customers not to mention the marketing people who have no idea how the whole thing works. eg feardotcom.com/fearcom.com/fear.com/feardot.com
another eg. slashdot.org :D i'm sure if you heard something like that being said back in 92 you'd be like "I didn't know you could put a slash into your domain name so that's /..org and it's supposed to be a good site?"
