Has anyone actually seen the Complaint? I'd be interested in reading what the specific causes of action are.

Would assume the complaint(s) will be regarding all the thoughts we have all had for the past few years about their questionable actions.

Its kinda like going after the GOV, many people req'd.

I don't mind the 5 day rule, but there should be a fee, $1? $0.50? Something significant to kill off the mass-registering that goes on but enough that the average Joe can correct if they register the wrong domain by accident.

Personally, I think ICANN acted too slowly.

This has been going on for some time now with NetSol.

At the last meeting of ICANN, someone wanted to initiate emergency measures against NetSol but was shot down. So nothing happened. They were permitted to continue on.

Did ICANN not learn anything from the RegFly debacle? They are a party to the lawsuit against Registry Fly for allowing that mess to go on unchecked for more than a year.

So let's raise out registration fees again so they can complete the move to Switzerland to escape further litigation.

Sue the hell out of NetSol, ICANN, and VeriSign. Time for ICANN't to just go away.

etrvbsdsdd.com is only available at NS!!

Just searched for this made-up ridiculous domain there and then on GD it is not available.

This is unbelievable that they could get away with it for so long!

NS is preying on the uninitiated and/or ignorant.

Interesting quotes from the article:
Whenever someone searches for the availability of a domain name through Network Solutions' website, the company immediately registers the name for itself, preventing other companies from selling it and forcing consumers to pay Network Solutions' expensive fees.
Network Solutions' scheme is made possible by ICANN. ICANN allows companies that sell domain names to avoid paying registration fees for names cancelled within five days. Thus, Network Solutions can defraud customers at no cost to itself.

ICANN is aware that Network Solutions is abusing this policy and yet continues to facilitate its actions.

This is why people think about the Internet is filled with SCAM ICANN and Netsol are no exception.

It happened to me back in the days (many years ago before SnapName even existed) when financial.org dropped and I tried to registered it at NetSol, and it turned out someone inside Netsol registered the name after I called the company to inquiry about it.
