I realize there have been some issues recently with misclassified adult domains. If you haven’t heard yet, Google, our upstream advertising provider, has decided to stop monetizing adult traffic. No need to fear though! We already have our own adult advertisers lined up, so in a few weeks the misclassification problem will be a non-issue. Please see the excerpt below, from the Sedo Pro parking news:

“There has been a lot of concern with Google’s decision to stop monetizing adult traffic. However, Sedo clients can expect a seamless transition for their adult portfolios as we’ve already acquired new adult advertising partners in anticipation of our upstream advertiser's decision to no longer distribute adult content. This move has been made to ensure that clients parking with Sedo will be able to monetize their adult traffic with absolutely no interruption!

Sedo clients will now be able to combine even more highly-targeted adult advertisements with the already successful adult image templates. This will produce even more revenue and better results for your existing adult domains!

We look forward to sharing the positive results that our new advertising providers will garner for our clientele this year."

Thanks!

How is it that the misclassification problem will be a "non-issue"? My domain has nothing to do with Adult or porn...it is - TodaysWeb(.)com

TodaysWeb(.)com only receives non-porn traffic and the only links sedo puts on my domain is porn links. Hence, the couple hundred visitors to my site each month do nothing on the site except leave as quickly as possible...and remember not to come back.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do here. It is and has been very frustrating...anf the issue does not seem to be getting addressed here.

Hi Onward. PM sent.

Also, if any of you feel that your non-adult domains have been misclassified, please don't hesitate to PM me! We have been submitting domains constantly to our ad provider for reclassification. Once we get going with the new ad provider, these misclassification issues will no longer exist!

Thanks,

Monica

I visited sedo "Adultportal" parking page and looked into the structure of ads/links appearing. So far, each and every linking code I checked contained google/googlesyndication. Do I miss something or google did not stop serving adult ads yet?

Hi All!

To expand upon what Monica mentioned earlier, we have received the official word about the new Adult ad provider. Hopefully, this will help avoid further issues with adult traffic and parking! Read on below!:

Dear Valued Customer,

Over the last few weeks, we've received a lot of inquiries about how Google's decision to stop monetizing adult domain traffic (effective May 31st) will affect you as our valued domain parking customer. We're pleased to say that we have great news regarding a specific adult-solution to complement our existing parking program!

All Sedo clients can expect a seamless transition for their adult portfolios as we've already acquired new internationally successful adult advertising partners! This move has been made to ensure that all clients parking with Sedo will be able to monetize their adult traffic with absolutely no interruption!

Sedo clients will now be able to combine even more highly-targeted adult advertisements with the already targeted adult image templates. We are confident this will produce even more revenue and better results for your adult domains!

If you have not already checked our great new templates out, here are two examples of the new Sedo adult landers, which we introduced a few weeks ago and which will additionally profit from the new adult feeds:

http://www.candyass.com
http://www.tatiana.com

All you need to do to ensure your adult traffic is successfully monetized, is to check that your domains are correctly listed in the Adult Category of Sedo's sales catalogue. You can do this by logging into your account, and adjusting the category settings through the Domain Management Tool.

If you have any questions about the new advertising or would like more information on how Sedo can help you to monetize your adult traffic effectively, please contact your SedoPRO account manager or the Sedo team today.

What "internationally successful adult advertising partners" are you using? Why the secrecy?
