What will happen when/if ICANN addopt a New.net extension? How do New.net overcome this?
Yes, If You take it that way, if there were only .com domains, the profits would be much bigger? And that would be cool.Originally posted by vialli
There are too many extensions already... Who needs anymore?
ICANN should say no and stick by the extensions they already have.
Look at the fiasco with the recent additions such as .tv and .biz. Do we really want to go through something similar again.
.COM is king and is here to stay!

Any value? Do you believe that ICANN will accept their extensions.
ICANN, if it adopts an extension that new.net uses, will simply replace it with an actual domain in the root zone files. ICANN is never going to accept an alternate root provider. If your ISP is supporting new.net zone file lookups, it had better be going to the ICANN supported root servers first...Originally posted by octobus
