OK, thank you for the link. It's another great article. I also enjoyed the article, "Journey to the center of Google" as well.

Thanks again!

It'll be good for us, to have competition for our traffic.

So there will be no more Overture brand?

Maybe. I kind of think that the advertisers will benefit in lower keyword bid prices by having another major venue to choose from, dividing up the keyword/ad revenue cake. If a bunch move from google to yahoo, I only hope that DS and the like are prepared. I truly think everybody should expect a revenue decrease, due to summer also.

I spent way too much time reading today and there are so many stories, so much is happening in the search, PPC, traffic etc arena that its just hard to keep up. Now I just came across the new www.snap.com search deal. It all makes me wonder if I should push a little more toward developing some of my "brandable" names using the dough from the PPC, and even buying some advertising myself. PPC is a no brainer, but I think its time to parlay some of the results into actual sites, building a brand/s than can be sold for more than just type in traffic.

By the way, I was reading at idealab, this company has done phenominal stuff in just 8 years and there is no sign they intend on quitting. Its nice that the last year and the future of the interenet is exciting again, and appears its almost all is being driven by advertising/traffic this time.
