I have a few .com domains which when I Google search them I get fairly large numbers showing as search results - I do not add ".com", just the name/phrase. In less than .25 sec some will show well over 1m each.

Example: "Results 1 - 10 of about 96,700,000 for "my domain name w/o .com" (0.17 seconds) ...

How relevant are the result numbers to the potential value of the domain name?

Thanks!

Thank you.
With quotes and as undeveloped sites I get:

4.5 million search results for my top domain.
2.2 - 2.5 million for my next 3, 1.2 - 1.6 mil for my next 4 and between 250k to 1m for my next 14. They all have pretty catchy names...

newb question #2: is there value to those #'s?

newb question #3: what would be the best way to create cash flow without having to invest more $ into them? I do basic websites etc but would like seed money to develop what I have.

newb question #4: Is there much of a market for domain portfolio's? I TM'd a keyword in my domain names for marketing purposes which seemed a good idea - i dunno...

I appreciate your help, thanks again.

the biggest fallacy a newb can make is

base your domain registrations on google results

there must be research beyond big g

imo...

thanks

you may have to stomp thru the hills and valleys of knowledge, before you get beyond the realm of big G

find a place you must... where G has no influence

Which is becoming increasingly more difficult, if not impossible.

hmm

good to see, that you see... what you are seeing

as G expands further into more "usefull" ways which it tells you, how you can utilize it.

while you increasing find other ways to become more dependant on it.

will resistance be futile?

what was, before G?

What's all this? The higher a web SERP, the more likely it is noticed and from there it may appear interesting enough to be visited. Traffic, revenue, etc. all depend from either e-advertising, search engine listing, or the good old traditional classifieds and other media. If a website has a high SERP on the Big G then it is often listed almost as well on Yahoo, MSN, Ask, etc. And, let's not forget that G do is very, very much used. Concerning the remark about the quotes: Many people keep it simple and do many searches by typing a set of words, in a sentence or not. Usage of quotes limits the number of results, but that limits choice. Millionaire Haven with and without quotes brings the domain both in Google SERP N°1. Without quotes again SERP N°1 on Yahoo, but with quotes much less. Now, what is important for most domainers? I think it is TOP SERP on as many search engines as possible.
