Hello,

2 long domains, but both well known terms and even in their longform often heard on TV.

Not the .com though, but I think the .info goes well with it here...

NewYorkStockExchange.info
NewYorkStockExchange.us

any idea about the value?

Thanks for your appraisals!

I'd suggest that you seek advice/comment in the "Legal issues" section here, seriously ... though I doubt very much they'd care in the .INFO and/or .US. Check it out.
Good Luck.

This comment smells of utter "bias" and blatant disregard of facts...OR.....I guess some people just don't get it even after the reality hits their bu** with full force. .US may be very new without much resale &/or UDRP track record but including .INFO in the same club    What else can one say....

You are right. There are trademarks registered with that name. And I thought New York Stock Exchange was a generic term like "Boston Fish Market" or so.... Sigh.

Why do I learn about these things AFTER I have spent 20 dollars on registry fees?

Anybody cares to look at a thread where I ask this question in more detail? Thanks!

But even learning about it now is a good thing as I would probably have gone forward to develop or sell the domains and eventually would have run into bad trouble. So thank you for telling me.

Yep, you'll probably be getting a C & D letter from their attoney. I got one from them on my purchase of Bigboard.biz and that one is much more generic. Also, answers the comment on this thread about their possible non-interest in the other extensions.

They have a strong policy about paying any fees in excess of the registration cost for a transfer and have the Big gun legal departments and all the money in the world to enforce that policy. It's been my experience in these cases that they'd rather
fight and spend a bazillion bucks than change on this.

I have the contacts for them and would suggest that you just send them a note offering to transfer the names over.

Hello stockdoctor,

that's what I just asked in the legal section of this forum.

Can you send me the contact details please? I will contact them and hand the domains over for free or reg fee.

Thank you!
