The giant Nintendo has asked an israeli teenager to give to them an israeli domain Pokemon.co.il, and if not they are threatening to take the case to court.

The israeli called Daniel Duvnikov has buyed the pokemon.co.il domain when he was 13 and now, he is 18 years old knows he hasnt a lot of chance to stay with his domain that he uses to put games and makes 300 usd dollars a month, but he has refuse to give the domain and wants a deal to transfer the domain but still have part to develop the site in Israel.

Another very similar case was with the waltdisney.co.il that the original owner had to transfer to Walt Disney a few years ago.

Here is the article in hebrew. If i found it in english I will post it.

As the article published today says, the dude will met them to try to convince them to run the site in Israel. But he know the case is lost. So his lawyers told him.

You have to be crazy to go after TM names today... Even crazier to go after TM names with the intention(s) of developing them as "your own".
