I wonder if anyone has thoughts about the future value of NNN.in domains as all are gone from the wild.
China seems to be more attuned to using numeric domains but does the shear number of educated Indian internet users bode well for nnn.in domains (or not)??
Thanks

I noticed the other day that about 15% of all NNN.in names are registered to people in China.

Chinese love the numeric domains. Several of the world's top websites are Chinese language numeric domains (ie 163.com).

Numbers are used by asian countries because its easier for non-english speakers to rememember a number versus an english letter, let alone an entire word.

I think this may change as IDNs become more popular.

Obviously someone does not know how to scan.

I scanned the list last night and found available:

216
510
775
923

Now I got the last one:

5369307 4588019 Registration of 923.in for 1 years Invoice Paid Successfully 1000 : Command completed successfully

But I guess due to my slow connection someone first grabbed 775 and now beated me for second on 923 despite I paid and said successful since on the whois it`s not me.

Bah...I don`t even think they worth but guess I wanted to have one, lol.

Yes it was weird. I tried to reg at Enom for 10 minutes and it wouldn't process. I got an email saying:

Code:
Type Qty ExtAmt Description / Status
===============================================================================
Registration 1 $0.00 923.in / Domain not available

So I waited a few miuntes and tried again as it cointinued to show the domain was available using multiple registry queries at different sites. After the second failed attempt at Enom to register the domain, I asked Scorpio to reg it for me at directI and he got it. :shy:

No worries.....some more to complain for me regarding my internet connection ......look at this:

Sales Reversal Credit for Failure of Transaction ID 5369307(Registration of 923.in for 1 years) Nov 10, 2006 12:46:38 PM Credit Note 12.75 12.75

You anticipated me of 25 seconds on UTC time.

And I was trying to reg 775 and 923 since you posted to have reg 510........my connection is a pain.

I thought all day if reg the 4 domains for $51 or better save the $51 because no one would never buy any of them (I thought) .....what can I say?

Best of luck and if you sell any of those four please let me know how much I have lost :)
