Anyone have any past dealings with NOLDC, INC. ?

Registrant: NOLDC, Inc. 838 Camp Street 4th Floor New Orleans, LA 70130 US 504-523-0360 Fax:(504) 274-0360 Domain

We have a client's domain name that we are trying to buy from them and the deal is starting to smell like a seafood market. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks Steve

I think they use directnic?
I have seen that they sell some domains here : directnic.com/premium/
I think they may have something to do with directnic, maybe you can ask them.
But I am not %100 sure

Thanks for the update - I always thought they had something to do with Directnic. This name they have is at KenyaTech.com? Trying to get them to use ESCROW and we pay fees on this deal and they just want our cc details via email (no way on the first deal with them) - Thanks again for the post - Take Care - Steve

Yes that is part of the problem as they say - "their client will sell the domain name" and "send us your cc details and they will transfer it to you" - A little too fishey for me. I have written them again about ESCROW.COM and will see if they want to go that route - Thanks Steve

Steve,

Go with what your "gut" is telling you.

If it was me, I would make them use escrow.com. And, treat it as a deal breaker.

Steve, you and I have been in the business world a long time.
And, you know the minute you ignore your gut feeling, something
goes wrong.

Hi Richard - I know what you are saying here. That is why I posted. Just to see if ANYBODY did a deal that worked with these folks. On brokered deals like this, we have to be even more careful as we are on the hook to the client all the way home. Gut says forget the deal - client says get the domain name (thus Escrow.com is the only way we can see to make it happen). Good to hear from you Richard - Hope things are good with you - Thanks - Steve

I reached an agreement with them for two names, but they wanted me to mail the payment in. I didn't feel comfortable doing so, since I would have no protection of the names weren't transferred, so I passed.

Yes that sounds like the same deal here. Seems like they could make it easier to work with them? Thanks so much for the post - Steve
