“Newbie” and “Noob” are particularly ubiquitous on the Internet, but they can be used to refer to anyone who is new or relatively inexperienced at something. The terms are oftentimes used pejoratively.

I wasn't sure it's used in general.
I wanted to be sure because I started developing web site today
with domain "noobfiles .com" and it's going to be tutorial sites
(100% unique tutorials) about html, graphics...

But, not gaming :D
