I don't think there is a large demand for them. Maybe a hundred years ago.

I do not see much value in this domain unless you get an enduser that wants it as a specific name for a band or something. I do see some value in branding for this name. If you could come up with a special ID lanyard that offers RFIS protection and maybe some other features that would set these apart from the market I think it could be a profitable name. Good luck.

tough one on value - your best bet is to position it as a brandable name, brandable's could sell at any and all levels xx - xx,xxxx.

I have to agree with the others regarding difficulty to valuate.

Even though it might be a recognizable word it would be outdated and outmoded.

However, I think this would be a great name serving two purposes:

One, a game site for the spelling/guessing game Hangman
Two, a political revelation "show all" site exposing dirty politicians as in "hanging themselves"

Other thoughts are ghost stories, war tales, etc.

Problem is getting it branded in any of these arenas would take some deep pockets.

The biggest problem here is identifying who the end user might be. You are better off hanging on to this is letting potential buyers come to you.

No real value. My guess is that nobody in your group of family or friends has ever uttered the word Nooses. The plural really isn't even used in language. It is not something that you would order online. If you were making a noose you would figure it out on your own. But even if you were to order one somewhere, the market is not big enough to have a site dedicated to it. With a name like this any real money appraisal where the appraiser isn't willing to offer close to that really makes it a reach.

Sure, someone could "theoretically" buy the name for a decent amount, just as posters here could date supermodels. It is cosmically possible, I guess, but it won't do you any good.

It is actually a very easy name to appraise. It is worth very little, if anything at all. I would rather have a 20 dollar bill handed to me the next time I step outside, than to be offered Nooses. I can take $20 and go get something to eat, or put some gas in the car. With Nooses.com I would have to spend a few minutes parking it, adding it to my list, etc. You only get so many minutes in life.

If anyone here is willing to offer $100 right now then it is obviously worth that, but I think I am right here, and that makes it not worth owning.

Thanks everyone for all your honest replies.

I agree this domain is a difficult one to find direction.

For now I will be keeping hold, who knows what kind of "nooses" craze comes up in the future :)

Hard to valuate this one, but there may be a hunting niche that requires heavy duty pre-made nooses to hang their catch and let it bleed out before gutting and chopping it.

Doing a quick search, I wasn't able to find any for sale. This could be perhaps hunters can tie their own noose. There are a lot of "how to" guides where you could target other keywords hunters may be interested in.
