I agree with DryHeat, but I think the ".INFO" will be difficult to overcome. This would be OK in the the .COM's. Best wishes! Good Luck.

.INFO is a new tld and needs to establish itself further....this is a well-known fact so there's no need to repeat it again & again. Having said that, its also a fact that some words/names fit better with certain tlds and "Notarize(d)" happen to do just that with .INFO, IMO. I also feel that a name posted in this section should be appraised not only in conjunction with its associated tld but also relative to its perceived value if it belonged to an established tld (.com). So in this case, Notarize(d).info would only be a fruitless reg if one believes that its .com counterpart would be worth less than $100 since the consesus/evidence suggests that .INFOs are generally worth (at this time) around 10-15% of an identicle .com name.

Good point. Thank you for your feedback. Any ideas on what exactly could it been used on, or who might be interested in them? I know there are Notarization offices, but do they conduct business over internet?

I'm not aware if such services exist online yet but given the direction things are going it may not be too long...:)

If anybody is aware of such service, please mention it and point me to their website. Im talking about well established services, not some kid trying something on his geocities website :) Thanks

A notary, by definition, must conduct business face-to-face. You can't notarize things online. Perhaps a directory of notaries might work, or even an ambitious notary might want it to promote their services, but I can't think of too many more uses for it than that. Well, one more possibility...an educational site that tells you how to become a notary.

Good luck.

Great name for a .info extension, addict. Could become the world's best notarization services portal since it has a nice authoritative ring about it. .info's are good for instant credibility, especially for such serious subjects.

A lot of speculators still can't appreciate the meaning of addressing relevance - certain extensions for certain names, the sum is greater than its parts. In the mid-long term as the tld system evolves what with .eu, .health, .travel, .union just around the corner, the value of internet addressing is morphing and you just need to be smart about it or go the way of the dnbucks auction.

Can you imagine if that name was a .com? Yuks, another .con site.

I'd use it as my verification email for my domain registrant details. Sounds nice and scary to crooks :D

Someone here has verify.info which could also do the job, but he is asking for a couple of k I believe.

Don't know if this would make you a profit, but you could offer notaries free or fee-based email accounts. It might be attractive for a notary to have a relevant email address like [email protected]. Might complement the notary search engine/database idea. :)

Thanks "HelloThere". Any idea is good, since it gives me chance to evaluate other suggestions besides my own. There might be something to use from your idea as well, so if I develop it this way, I just might do something like that. Not sure would motaries be interested in this though, but its worth a try. Have to think out all the possibilities first.. Thanks
