The new gTLD .NYC which is available for registration only by people who either live or own a business in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Islands, has crossed the 52,000 mark in the first month of registration as reported by New York Department of IT and Telecommunications.
As of now, the website ntldstats shows 54,060 registrations.
.NYC has already surpassed .London which now has 49,650 registrations.
Out of the 54,000 registrations, nearly 27,000 are registered by individuals and the rest are registered by businesses.
