Apologies if this has been discussed before, but a discussion on another forum I am involved in has raised something thet was quite eye-opening to me, if the conclusions drawn are correct.
Someone spotted a typo of a brand well known in the gambling industry and assumed it was an affiliate cashing in. On further investigation, the domain is parked at Fabulous so pretty sure its a "PPC" domain.
However, the so called PPC links served up on the page go to places like 888 and Golden Palace and seem to contain affiliate links. Now I have never parked at Fabulous, so is it possible that you can alter all the links on your page to include your own affiliate links?
If not, then one has to conclude that Fabulous have affiliate links in place with these companies which is a clever move. On a CPA deal I guess that's worth $75 - $150 per player signed up, possibly up to $200 or more for bulk. So do the domain owners get a good portion of that?
I'm confused - well, I seem to be missing an opportunity anyway![Big Grin :D :D](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
