Hi Unclewilco,

Should I take it?

Yes IMO

How much of a cut do sedo take and long does it take??

Sedo charges 10% ($100 minimum). Can take a few days or a few weeks. Both parties will need to fax a contract to sedo and the buyer will have to transfer payment to their escrow account.

Hope this helps. Good luck with the sale!

Although it's a .net, i wouldn't let it go for less than $2k.

Lots of institutions that create swiss bank accounts for
US/etc citizens would love this name.

Good luck!

thanks DR...

i have emailed a few institutions (with an asking price of $500)

a few weeks ago, a few responses but mainly no interest..

maybe if this sale does not goe through,

then develop a mini portal with information on getting an account..

right back to the wales game..

uhh, swiss bank accounts "out of style". they're not clothes.
they're the world's most trusted banks that have remained
untouched through 2 world wars and over a hundred years.

how can you say that swiss banks are out of style. it seems
rather absurd.

I think he means that they no longer offer safe haven. They now disclose accounts and account balances if so ordered by the court.
