How on earth can that be possible? he played 31 secs and earned THAT high? he inputed some secret cheatcode?? how he do it? I was going to PM him, but hes refusing messages.

Probably he is just very lucky.

Yeah I saw that too. Its obviously he cheated. He's not even a member...I mean, he has zero posts. Its to bad cause there really isn't any reason to play that game anymore.

I think some of the scores should be reset....

No one is going to get higher that 3225 on the Penguin games, Tetris is getting silly now and we need more games....

I think the games periodically send a message back to the server and that's how it counts the time... some games don't do this right, so the times are off.

It's also possible he cheated... someone bored enough could sniff the communication between flash and the server and tweak his score.

And hey- if he really earned that score, he's probably not posting because he went to vegas!


EDIT:

On second read, that score is 2^32 -1. I bet there was an error and it submitted -1 to an unsigned int db field, which would overflow to that number.

He didn't cheat, there was an error.

Now, Why is it that I can not enter the arcade section *ever* so I can dethrown some of you with the spare 10 minutes per 24 hours hat I have???

always get the following error:

Yeah I think there was something fishy with a few games he played. We are going to dump his scores as he isn't even an active member here.
