At first glance it appears strong, but not a lot of searches for this term. I was even surprised at how little the root keyword "rebates" is searched and the low cpc. All of the other major extensions are registered. Definitely a keeper, but value on this one is tough. Reseller, low to mid XXX I would guess, but end user with a good plan could value this at mid X,XXX or more.

No real CPC, and as stated above the searches are very low, considering you paid low 4 figures for the domain, you took a calculated risk, bidding in the aftermarket has become very costly due to the influx of newbies...

This has good value but needs a business plan! Tremendous opportunity for affiliate or licensing seems possible. Might be worth finding an appropriate strategic partner in affinity/loyalty/rebate programs. Ask for ideas rather than a sale. Take a good look at the potential. Good luck. Straight up sale would be likely a push--jockeying around the same slim margins from seller to buyer.

Thank you all for the input. I am actually an end user - affiliate marketing is my job :)

Since I am an end user for this domain, I feel very lucky to win this domain name for a very low price . To be honest, I had set my max bid more than triple the I price I've paid. Again, that's because I am an end user :)

Great name. Just don't waste it like the ebates fiasco (and others) years ago. Many people have soured over "online rebates" because of the actions of a group of bad actors.

It's a good name but thought RebateStatus was a better value.

Online Rebates would fit best for "cashback shopping, coupons, and deals" - take a quick view of MrRebates.com / eBates.com.
Whereas, "rebate status" (check your rebate status online) has very limited use, IMHO.

Very true, in that sense OnlineRebates is much better, excellent for you as an end user to develop into similar cashback type site...when I saw it thought the same thing but figured development costs would be too much for a site of that magnitude. If you can beat mrrebates, you will have me as a user, :)!

In agreement with previous posts, whoever has a biz plan can pay mid X,XXX without worries. The name is solid, generic enough, potentially profitable, good niche, easy to spell, easy to remember, and dotcom. Reseller value 600-700 IMHO.
