Open letter to Verisign
To Stratton Sclavos, President and Ceo Verisign

I realize that the dot tv corp is a very small piece of the pie that made up your $1.58 Billion in revenue for 2006. It would however be nice if the company was run in a responsible manner with respect and a fair playing ground for all registrants of .tv domains.

No other TLD has the renewal pricing that .tv does, and as of May 1,2007 you have thrown uncertainty into the mix. ENOM who you partnered with to run the retail side of the registry and the only registrar to register premium domains has stated, "Renewal pricing is subject to change"

The representative from Demand Media/ENOM has stated this is a Verising initiative. I am not sure how this helps the registr, doman holders or Verisign and its corporate partners.

Dot Tv Nation represents the interests of several .tv owners and would like to ask your company to try to foster growth and creativity instead of creating paranoia and disdain for both the extension and Verisign.

We understand you have obligations to the Island nation of Tuvalu, but there needs to be some certainty with regard to pricing so that all may feel good about their choice of the .tv extension.

Yours truly,

Dot Tv Nation

Not worth the effort to even try to communicate with verisign.
It's been proven to be a shady company for countless times.
They will never change their attitude.
