Opinion on "2k" domains?

For example, would you want cars2k.com versus some longer/stupider domain like dealsoncars.com or fgscars.com?

I think a domain with "y2k" is too dated, and 2000 is not too much better, but what about just "2k"?

I'm not thinking about resale investment value, I'm thinking for development.
