Opinions needed for single-word dictionary domain value.

Hi All,

Your thoughts and opinions as to the true value of this single-word dictionary domain name: "inserted.com".

Sedo appraises this at US$44,000. When it was parked with Sedo it brought in over 500 Euros per month in revenue. Now, however, Sedo has blocked it (and no, I wasn't buying traffic or running click-scripts on it at all).

Your opinions and advice on the value of this domain would be greatly appreciated.

More experienced domainers can chime in and contradict me; but, since you're response-less at this point, I'll put in my 2 cents.

I can't speak about the parking revenue because I pretty much view my own parking as a sales lead only and ignore it as revenue.

But as for the domain as a brand, I just don't see it. What would it be for? Pornography perhaps. But it's not very catchy even there. The word doesn't have symbolism or positive overtones. It's kind of bland.

I would guess that there are a lot more phrase searches for "inserted" than exact searches for [inserted]. And I'd also wager that those phrase searches are pretty diffuse in terms of subject matter--meaning that there isn't one particular niche for this word that has a high search volume. So I'm hard pressed to identify any buyers for it.

Who wants to be CEO of Inserted, Inc? Rather awkward as a social introduction.
