Yeah .org was hammered recently with huge overloads.

tried to run a scan the other night of available .org. Took forever to get returns on the first three words so I just gave up. Has anyone been able to pinpoint the problem?

.org registry updated the name i want - still says "INACTIVE, PENDING DELETE SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE "

However expiration date got moved up two years to 11/2007 from 11/2005

what gives lol

snap says it was dropping today as well

i have my eye on a domain name as well. Snapnames says its dropping on the 10th of Feb, but the whois info says "not found."

Anyone hear anything else about this?
