just put your mouse on the url, left click and hold down and move it up or down to the spot you want to move it to.Just the same way you do on your links bar on the browser go over to the arrows on the right grab a link and move to the link bar
hope this helps

Thanks ctn, I realize the "slow " way.. I have over 400 bookmarks...must be a faster one click method..?
Thanks though.....

Go to \windows\favorites. All your URL's are there, (For Win98 at least). Create folders, flick things around anyway you want.

To sort, click "Favorites", move to favorites field, and then right click. An option to "Sort by Name" comes up. My 700+ bookmarks are always pretty much sorted this way.

The "Organize Favorites" option of IE is pretty much worthless.

The easest way would be: Click on Favorites, then double click the desired folder so it pops out. Then do a regular "arange by" and close it..

You can organize your bookmarks with Advanced URL Catalog a
bookmark manager which allows you to sort them automatically.
